Adult Programs

Read-A-Book

This book club for adults meets the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Jackson Room. Join us for an intriguing conversation about the month's selected book, which is chosen by the group on a monthly basis. A different genre will be explored each month as we attempt to sample much of what the library has to offer.

Buy-A-Book

Patrons are welcome to contribute to the library through a program geared toward garnering additional new and varied materials. Drop by to view the latest monthly list of items up for grabs and be the first of your friends to read the book that you purchase!

Library At Your Door

This program is the delivery of library items to the doorsteps of Bridgeport residents, living within the city limits, who are unable to drive and/or are homebound for more than 1 month. Limitations must be due to a physical impairment. For more information, please contact the library at (940) 683-3450. If that is not possible, you may email a request to the library. Please include your name, library card number, address, and phone number with any communication.
