A paperback exchange shelf is offered for patrons. It is a one-for-one exchange - please bring books in good condition only.
Subscription magazines, purchased by the library, are located in the Jackson Room. All magazine issues except the latest edition are available for checkout for the regular 2-week period.
The most frequently used IRS forms are available at the library through April 15 of each year, while supplies last. Forms can also be downloaded from the IRS website.
When a patron needs an item not owned by the Bridgeport Public Library or the North Texas Library Consortium, we can request it on loan from another library. This is called Interlibrary Loan (ILL). The patron must pay the cost of return postage when the item is checked out. Books, DVDs, audiobooks, and photocopies are often available through this service, dependent upon the availability and policies of the library that owns the material. To make a request, please fill out the form and return it to the library.
