Welcome to Bridgeport Public Library!
We have over 36,000 books, magazines, audiobooks, newspapers, DVDs, and videos available for use by the public. New books are marked with a red dot for easy identification. Spanish books and videos of all levels are also available.
The library book drop is located at the front of the building at the beginning of the walkway, under the canopy. The book drop is checked at 5 p.m. every day we are open. Anything deposited will be checked the following day and may be subject to overdue fines.
Computers are available for use by the public, including Internet access. These computers have programs like Microsoft Office Suite, reference titles, tutorials, and children’s programs.
Wi-Fi access is freely available within the range of the library’s system.

Memorial / Honor Book Program
Our library’s Memorial / Honor Book Program provides a perfect way to celebrate the accomplishments of friends and family members. Graduations, birthdays, anniversaries - any special event - can be celebrated with an Honor Book. The form can be filled out and brought to the library.
